Young African lion (Panthera leo) learn their initial hunting skills through play fighting, stalking and pouncing on each other as cubs. Around one year of age, they join in hunting with their pride, and by two they’re skilled, effective hunters. You can find lion in the safari destinations of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
