Vervet monkeys (Chlorocebus pygerythrus) are partial to savannah, open woodland and forest-grassland mosaics, especially close to rivers, where they live in large groups of up to 38 males and females. You can find them in the safari destinations of South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda, in both rural and urban environments.
