A Rumpus Of Chacma Baboons On A Log

The chacma baboon (Papio ursinus) has two subspecies: P. u. griseipes and P. u. ursinus. The former is found in southwest Zambia, the Okavango Delta in Botswana, Zimbabwe and south of the Zambezi in Mozambique, while the latter occurs throughout South Africa and Namibia. Chacma baboons live in forest, desert, grassland, shrubland, savannah and rocky areas from sea level to about 2,100m above sea level.
