The pretty pearl-spotted owl (Glaucidium perlatum) is a diurnal creature, meaning its active during the day, when it hunts arthropods, insects, bats and small rodents. You can spot them in the grasslands, shrublands, forests and savannahs of Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
