At birth, a leopard cub (Panthera pardus) weighs just 500–600g and is both blind and near hairless. They’re dependant on their mothers for the first 12–18 months, but thereafter live on their own. Safari goers can seek these elusive creatures in the safari destinations of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Congo, Kenya and Tanzania.
