A Journey of Masai Giraffe Strolling Along The Savannah

Masai giraffe (Giraffa tippelskirchi), also known as Kilimanjaro giraffe, live in small groups. Although technically diurnal, they don’t sleep very much, spending up to 20 hours a day browsing. While whistling-thorn acacia trees make up the main portion of their diet (their long lips and tongues enable them to work around the thorns), they also eat other leaves, twigs, sprouts, flowers, fruits and bark. These pretty creatures are only resident in Kenya and Tanzania.
