The golden-breasted bunting (Emberiza flaviventris) is a non-migratory bird in the Emberizidae bunting family. Males and females are similar looking: white crown with black stripes, white supercilium, black-bordered white ear coverts, orange-yellow underparts, chestnut and grey upperparts and brownish wings with white wing bars. They’re resident in the savannah, shrubland and forests of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Congo.
