Welcome to Cape Town! On arrival, you’ll be met and shown to your awaiting transfer vehicle and embark on a private road transfer to Cape Grace Hotel. Here you can enjoy breakfasts, the use of the hot spa area with steam room and sauna as well as luxury chauffeur transfers within a 10km radius of the City Bowl.
Wake up to enjoy a breakfast at the Cape Grace before you set off on your day of discovery, exploring the Mother City as you wish. There are exhilarating outdoor adventures, incredible dining opportunities and many cultural experiences on offer in and around Cape Town. Perhaps venture out to the Cape Winelands to sample the many award-winning wines on offer in this magnificent part of the world (additional cost).
Wake up in your own time. After fuelling up with breakfast at Cape Grace, spend the day again at your leisure, exploring Cape Town and its surrounds. A highlight here is taking a tour around the Cape Peninsula, and stopping to swim with seals (additional cost).
Enjoy breakfast then embark on a private road transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your scheduled flight to Phinda Airstrip, via Nelspruit. You’ll then be met and transferred to Phinda Rock Lodge. Unwind in the beautiful surrounds of the main guest area, take a dip in the plunge pool, with a view, and enjoy pre-dinner drinks at the firepit before dinner is served.
Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives that continue after nightfall. Professionally trained guides will ask you about your favourite wildlife and will do their best to ensure that your preferences are met, whether it is tracking a particular species or spending more time enjoying each sighting and getting to know the habits of the animals. Back at the lodge, enjoy dinner and share stories of the day’s adventure.
Accompanied by your ranger, enjoy an interpretive nature walk, around the lodge, where you learn more about the intricacies of the African bush, from discovering fascinating flora and reading animal tracks with your guide to meeting smaller wildlife up close. Alternatively, go really wild and experience the thrill of tracking animals on foot, accompanied by an armed specialist ranger and tracker team. Between activities, relax around the beautiful lodge and end the day with dinner and a fire under the African night sky.

Phinda Private Game Reserve is renowned for its exceptional sightings of the elusive cheetah and the rare black rhino, as well as the Big Five and a number of resident lion prides. Adventure on game drives or walks, relax in your room … watching the game come and go. Cool off in the lap pool, enjoy delicious meals served on outdoor decks or in a remote bush setting and end off your day around a crackling fire.
