9-Day Zambia | Fly-in South Luangwa National Park & Livingstone

This nine-day safari shows you two highlights of Zambia. First up is South Luangwa, where stays at two different lodges take you from riverfront to deep bush, with plenty of game viewing in between. Then it’s time to hit Livingstone, from which you can explore the mighty Zambezi River on canoe safaris and boat cruises and the majestic Victoria Falls on guided walks, helicopter flips or microlight rides.

Twice daily, you’ll have the option to join the game-viewing activities in South Luangwa National Park, including day and night drives and walking safaris. The afternoon game drive stops for sundowners and continues into a night drive, using spotlights to find smaller nocturnal animals or predators on the hunt. Bush walks bring another dimension to a safari, focusing on smaller things, like birds and flora, while observing animals in the distance.

This indulgence is accompanied with magnificent views over the floodplains and the Luangwa River, and is a great way to unwind after walking safaris, which, although not strenuous, can take place over rugged terrain over three-to-four hours.
