Cross the Serengeti plains to the impressive Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your safari lodge, which is situated adjacent to the famous Ngorongoro Crater Area, in time for lunch. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure, perhaps a dip in the pool or treat yourself to the spa, ending off the day with a delicious dinner.

After a very early morning descending the narrow track to the crater floor, enjoy a picnic breakfast. Then your game drive commences, along the myriad tracks on the crater floor – an exceptional experience in this magical setting. The crater floor is a mini biosphere with a multitude of animal and bird species, including the black rhino. In the early afternoon, ascend back up the narrow track to your lodge for a late lunch with the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served in the restaurant.

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before returning to Arusha. After a quick lunch, continue to cross the border into Kenya, where you’ll enter Amboseli National Park. Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, will provide a spectacular backdrop on your afternoon game drive as you drive towards your safari lodge.

Set off on your early morning game drive, hoping that Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-covered peak is clear and uncovered. Return for a late breakfast, with the remainder of the morning to relax at your lodge. After lunch, take a late afternoon game drive – around the many lakes and springs fed by Kilimanjaro’s melting snows – in search of Amboseli’s legendary elephant herds. You’ll be invited to plant an acacia tree as part of the Amboseli Reforestation Project, and receive a commemorative certificate. Return to your lodge for a memorable ‘dinner under the stars’ experience.

Enjoy breakfast and depart on your flight to Laikipia via Nairobi. Landing at Mugie airstrip, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to Governors’ Mugie House. Settle in before heading out on your afternoon game drive, taking time to explore the area and its diverse wildlife, including northern endemic species Grevy Zebra, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Reticulate Giraffe and Gerenuk. Return to Governors’ Mugie House, with time to freshen up before dinner.

Wake up bright and early for your morning game drive, exploring the area – from the dam to Laikipia’s acacia-dotted landscape and olive forests. Lunch will be enjoyed at Mugie House with the afternoon at your leisure. Watch the waterhole and the visitors that frequent it, take a dip in the cool pool and set off again to watch the sunset during your late afternoon game drive. Return to camp for dinner and a crackling fire.

Today you’ll depart for the Great Rift Valley – an area of hot springs, geysers, volcanoes and some of the oldest, largest and deepest lakes in the world. The alkaline shallow soda lakes are famous for their flamingo flocks, gathering to feed and breed along the lakes. Arrive at Governors’ Loldia House sitting on the banks of Lake Naivasha, one of two freshwater lakes on the rift. Spend the afternoon relaxing and taking in the views before enjoying dinner and ending the day off under the star-studded sky.

Your safari guide will arrange a day of exploring to suit your preferences before you return to your lodge. You may visit nearby Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingo as well as a breeding sanctuary for the endangered black rhino, white rhino and the rare Rothschild giraffe.
