A very early morning starts your day, followed by winding along the narrow track to the caldera floor, a mini biosphere of animal and bird species – including the black rhino. Enjoy a picnic breakfast before commencing your game drive following the myriad animal tracks.

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before returning to Arusha. After a quick lunch, continue to cross the border into Kenya, where you’ll enter Amboseli National Park. Set off on your early morning game drive, hoping that Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-covered peak is clear and uncovered. Return for a late breakfast, with the remainder of the morning to relax at your lodge. After lunch, take a late afternoon game drive – around the many lakes and springs fed by Kilimanjaro’s melting snows – in search of Amboseli’s legendary elephant herds. You’ll be invited to plant an acacia tree as part of the Amboseli Reforestation Project, and receive a commemorative certificate. Return to your lodge for a memorable ‘dinner under the stars’ experience.

Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for Ol Pejeta, a private wildlife sanctuary overlooking Mount Kenya. After lunch, take the afternoon at your leisure, to explore around the lakeshore at your safari lodge.

Your safari guide will arrange a day of exploring to suit your preferences before you return to your lodge. You may visit nearby Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingo as well as a breeding sanctuary for the endangered black rhino, white rhino and the rare Rothschild giraffe. Alternatively, travel further north to another Rift Valley lake, Bogoria, for some great bird watching. Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to your safari lodge for the evening.

  • This safari includes a private safari guide and custom-built 4WD safari vehicle for all safari activities.
  • Exclusive experiences on this itinerary include Amboseli reforestation tree planting, dinner under Kilimanjaro, sundowners at Marsh View Point, breakfast with the hippo in the Masai Mara and dinner under the stars in the Masai Mara (minimum 2 people).
