Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, with the remainder of the day at leisure. Nairobi is a wonderful melting pot, where modern African life in all its colour and vibrancy continues, at pace, alongside fascinating reminders of Kenya’s rich colonial history. While visitors flock to Kenya for the wildlife, it’s worth spending a night in its capital city and seeing the sights.

Leaving Nairobi after breakfast, you travel towards Kenya’s fertile highlands and head down the rift escarpment on the road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. On the way, spot the charming chapel built at the foot of the escarpment. Pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the valley to Narok; continue your travels across hectares of wheat and barley, before reaching the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Following lunch, set off on your first game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Following an early breakfast, depart on a morning game drive, returning to the camp mid-morning. After lunch, and perhaps a siesta, set off on another game drive and a visit to the Masai Village, returning to the lodge as the sun sets. It’s possible to pre-book an optional early morning balloon safari at additional cost.

After breakfast, once again travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasai land. Now travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, stopping en route for a picnic lunch. Keep an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle as you head up to Mai Mahiu before arriving at Lake Nakuru. Once in the park, view game en route to the lodge. Following lunch and a siesta, there is an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Wake up to enjoy an early breakfast. Then, leaving the Rift Valley behind, proceed to Nairobi for an early lunch (or a picnic lunch, dependent on road conditions). Then continue south towards Amboseli National Park, arriving at your lodge by late afternoon.

Depart the lodge after a sumptuous breakfast for a full day game drive with Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak as a backdrop while you drive around in search of Amboseli’s infamous elephant herds. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a picnic site returning to the lodge late afternoon.

After breakfast, you continue the journey to the Tanzania border post and then on to Arusha for lunch. After lunch, drive across the Masai Steppe, filled with many picturesque African villages, to the Great Rift Valley. Here, your hotel is perched on the edge of the Rift Valley with stunning views over the distant Lake Manyara.

After breakfast, enter your safari vehicle and spend the morning exploring and driving through Lake Manyara National Park. About midday, return to the lodge for lunch and then depart for Serengeti National Park with some game viewing en route, arriving at your lodge as the sun begins to set.

Today gives you the opportunity to explore the Serengeti’s vast plains and its masses of game on morning and afternoon game drives, with experienced guides. It is possible to pre-book an optional early morning balloon safari, at an additional cost.

After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro, viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains. After a picnic lunch, continue towards the crater with a short visit of a Masai Village. In the late afternoon, continue on to your lodge, which is set high on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, for dinner.

After breakfast, descend 600m through the mist into what’s commonly referred to as the world’s largest natural wildlife arena. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs to open grassland and some sandy dunes, which offer a truly unique wildlife experience. After a picnic lunch, return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner.

Depart Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast, heading southeast past Lake Manyara and Mto Wa Mbu Village. View the scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations as you drive through the highlands and the Karatu district, before journeying down the spectacular escarpment, turning south to Arusha. Enjoy game viewing as you drive through Tarangire to your lodge. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Depart Tarangire after breakfast and drive back to Arusha, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you continue the journey by road to Nairobi, arriving late afternoon. After dinner in Nairobi city centre, you’ll be dropped off at a city centre hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, for your onward travel arrangements.
